Experience Summary

Mr. Bos, who is Principal Consultant of BOS Lighting Design, has a broad experience in theatrical lighting. His designing skills have been in demand for the Alley Theater, Six Flags Parks, Stages Theater, and Horse Cave Theater.

He has worked in architectural lighting since 1992 and has taught Lighting Design at the University of St. Thomas and the University of Houston. With a growing team of highly skilled staff and consultants, he has led a wide range of project teams which offers lighting consulting services worldwide, mainly our of offices in Houston, Texas

His objective has been to build a team that offer a full range of nationally respected lighting consulting services. The Houston office has a staff of ten, giving us the ability to gear up quickly for large projects while still devoting the individual attention required by each project. These staff also brings to bear an experience base previously found only on the East and West Coasts of the United States. All of our designers are active members of the IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers) and several of them are lighting certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions.

His affiliations include the International Association of Lighting Designers Professional Membership and the Illuminating Engineering Society.

He was a guest speaker at the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association’s national convention for five years, speaking on lighting design, dimming systems and home integration.

He received two International Illumination Design Awards of Merit in 1997, one Award of Merit in 1998 and two in 1999.
